Since Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital completed their takeover of the club in May 2022, an astronomical amount of £1.2 billion has been splurged on new player acquisitions. A whopping total of 40 players have been brought in, with many of them signing lucrative contracts spanning over seven years or more. On the other hand, 38 players have bid adieu to the club as part of the massive overhaul.
